Stevie Nicks Reschedules Tour Dates Due to Shoulder Injury, 'Buckingham Nicks' Album Set for Reissue

Stevie Nicks has rescheduled her upcoming tour dates due to a shoulder injury. The 77-year-old singer/songwriter will need time to recover from a fractured shoulder, leading to the postponement of her US concert dates in August and September. However, her October dates remain unaffected. Nicks expressed her regret for any inconvenience caused to her fans and looks forward to seeing them soon.

In other news, the album "Buckingham Nicks," the only studio album by Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks as a duo, is set to be reissued for the first time. Originally released in September 1973, the album has been sourced from the original master tapes for its return to vinyl and hi-res digital files for CD and digital release. Recorded at Sound City Studios in Los Angeles, the album preceded Nicks and Buckingham's tenure with Fleetwood Mac, which began the following year.

Despite the album's lack of commercial success, it caught the attention of Mick Fleetwood, who later invited Nicks and Buckingham to join Fleetwood Mac. The relationship between Nicks and Buckingham has been strained since Buckingham's departure from the band in 2018. However, Fleetwood has expressed a desire for the two to reconcile. Fleetwood had plans to reunite Fleetwood Mac before Christine McVie's passing in November 2022, which left him searching for a new musical direction.

Looking ahead, Fleetwood remains hopeful of collaborating with another band in 2026 and is eager to return to playing music. While the future of Fleetwood Mac's lineup remains uncertain, Fleetwood is open to exploring new musical opportunities in the coming year.
