Stevie Nicks Reschedules Tour Dates Due to Shoulder Injury; 'Buckingham Nicks' Album Set for Reissue

Stevie Nicks has rescheduled her upcoming tour dates due to a shoulder injury. The 77-year-old singer/songwriter will need time to recover from a fractured shoulder, leading to the postponement of her US concert dates in August and September. However, her October dates remain unaffected. Nicks expressed her regret for any inconvenience caused to her fans and looks forward to seeing them soon.
In other news, the album "Buckingham Nicks," the only studio album by Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks as a duo, is set to be reissued for the first time. Originally released in September 1973, the album has been out of circulation for many years. It has been remastered from the original tapes for its return to vinyl and will also be available in hi-res digital formats. The album was recorded at Sound City Studios in Los Angeles and was released a year before Nicks and Buckingham joined Fleetwood Mac.
Despite the album's initial lack of commercial success, it caught the attention of Mick Fleetwood, who later invited Nicks and Buckingham to join Fleetwood Mac. The relationship between Nicks and Buckingham has been strained since Buckingham's departure from the band in 2018. However, Fleetwood has expressed his desire for them to reconcile. Fleetwood had plans to reunite the band before Christine McVie's passing in November 2022, which left him searching for a new musical direction.
Looking ahead, Fleetwood remains hopeful of collaborating with another band in 2026 and is eager to return to playing music. While he misses performing as much as before, he is open to the possibility of working on a new album and potentially touring with a different group. Fleetwood's musical endeavors continue, despite the absence of Fleetwood Mac in his current plans.
