Dua Lipa's Sunny Hill Festival: A Celebration of Music, Fashion, and Identity
Dua Lipa recently launched her festival, Sunny Hill, in Kosovo, where she was granted Kosovo citizenship. The pop star expressed her joy at the unity this citizenship brings to her dual identity. The ceremony, led by President Vjosa Osmani, featured a choir of children singing Lipa's song "Levitating" as she donned a stylish outfit.
The festival kicked off with Lipa showcasing a Glastonbury-inspired wardrobe, including a festival t-shirt and denim shorts. Lipa headlined the Friday night of the fest, alongside other artists like Shawn Mendes and Fatboy Slim. Her stage costumes continued the glamorous theme of her Radical Optimism tour, featuring custom mini dresses and bustiers.
After her performance at Sunny Hill, Lipa shared her gratitude on Instagram for the energy and pride of the night. Lipa and her father founded the festival in 2018 to change perceptions of Kosovo. In 2022, she was named an honorary ambassador for Kosovo for her cultural advocacy efforts.
Following her performance, Lipa enjoyed the festival atmosphere and shared party pics on Instagram. She showcased various festival outfits, including a Prada polo and shorts set and a Rabanne second skin dress. Lipa has been traveling the world, attending events like Stevie Wonder's BST Hyde Park show and Paris Couture Week, showcasing her versatile style.
As Lipa continues to make waves in the music industry and beyond, her summer adventures and fashion choices captivate fans worldwide.
