Empowering Chicago Kids Through Sports: Disney and ESPN's Every Kid Sports Initiative

Disney and ESPN have launched the Every Kid Sports initiative to encourage Chicago-area children to participate in sports this fall. Through the Disney Junior Let's Play campaign, grants are available to help alleviate the financial burden associated with youth sports. Sportscaster Jen Lada from ESPN and Johanna Cousin, owner of JustCause Dance in Oak Park, discussed the program and highlighted the costs involved in dance, such as costumes and travel.
