Happy's Place Season 2: Will Bobbie and Emmett Finally Find Love?
Fans of the show "Happy's Place" were left wondering about the potential romance between Reba McEntire and Rex Linn's characters after the Season 1 finale. The characters Bobbie and Emmett seemed to be getting closer but decided to keep their relationship platonic to protect their friendship. However, a recent social media post by the actors hinted at a possible romantic development in the upcoming second season of the show. The show follows Bobbie, played by McEntire, who inherits a bar from her father and discovers she has a half-sister named Isabella, played by Belissa Escobedo. Emmett, played by Linn, is the short-order cook at the bar. The show's executive producer, Kevin Abbott, expressed his desire to explore a romantic storyline for McEntire's character, something he couldn't do on their previous collaboration, "Reba." The real-life relationship between McEntire and Linn adds an interesting dynamic to the potential onscreen romance. The show is set to return for its second season on Nov. 7, airing back-to-back episodes on Fridays. In addition to her role on "Happy's Place," McEntire will also be returning as a coach on "The Voice" for its upcoming season.
