Bí Ann Music Generation Concert: A Showcase of Young Musical Talent
Music Generation Wexford is hosting a vibrant concert featuring talented young musicians who performed at the ‘Music at Mount Leinster’ festival. The lineup includes Yellow Bellows, Waterford Senior Traditional Ensemble, Reelig, Reel-Nua Reel-Óg, Music Generation Laois Traditional Orchestra, Rithim Traditional Orchestra, and CCÉ Admiral Brown Traditional Ensemble.
The initiative is supported by U2, The Ireland Funds, the Arts Council/An Comhairle Ealaíon, and the Department of Education. Bono, lead singer of U2, emphasized the importance of providing music tuition to all individuals regardless of their background. Music Generation has reached over 85,000 children and young people in 29 cities and counties in Ireland.
‘Bí Ann- Music Generation’ offers a unique opportunity to experience the talents of musicians involved in the national program. The concert will take place at Whites of Wexford on August 6 as part of Fleadh Cheoil na h-Éireann 2025. Ticket prices are €10 for adults, €5 for children, and €25 for families.
