Kickoff Weekend at Lambeau Field: The Black Crowes Concert and Packers Game Celebration
Football is back at Lambeau Field for the regular season, and fans can kick off the new season with "Kickoff Weekend," sponsored by SiriusXM, Ticketmaster, Polaris, and Verizon. The weekend will feature a free concert by The Black Crowes on Saturday, Sept. 6, at 5 p.m. in the northwest side parking lot of Lambeau Field. Parking is free, and attendees can bring blankets and chairs but not coolers or outside food and beverages. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. The Lambeau Field Atrium will be open for regular hours, including the Packers Pro Shop, Lambeau Field Stadium Tours, the Packers Hall of Fame, and 1919 Kitchen & Tap.
The celebration will continue on Sunday, Sept. 7, with a game against the Detroit Lions at 3:25 p.m. The parking lots will open at 11:25 a.m., and gates will open at 1:25 p.m. Game sponsors include SiriusXM, Ticketmaster, Polaris, and Verizon, and attendees will receive a "Kickoff Weekend" cooling towel upon entering the game. The Black Crowes, after a 15-year hiatus, are back with their 10th studio album, "Happiness Bastards." The Robinson Brothers have reunited to bring back their signature rock & roll sound, stripped down and raw. The band has been on a successful tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of their breakthrough album, "Shake Your Money Maker," and now they are releasing new music that captures the essence of their roots. Produced by Jay Joyce, "Happiness Bastards" is a testament to the enduring spirit of rock & roll.
