Stevie Nicks Postpones Tour Due to Shoulder Injury: Buckingham Nicks Album Reissued

Stevie Nicks has rescheduled her upcoming tour dates due to a shoulder injury. The 77-year-old singer/songwriter will need time to recover from a fractured shoulder, leading to the postponement of her US concert dates in August and September. However, her October dates remain unaffected. Nicks expressed her regret for any inconvenience caused to her fans and looks forward to seeing them soon.
Originally set to start in August, Nicks' tour has been pushed back. In other news, the album "Buckingham Nicks," the only studio album by Lindsey Buckingham and Nicks as a duo, is being reissued for the first time. The album, released in September 1973 and unavailable for decades, has been remastered from the original tapes for its return to vinyl and digital formats.
Recorded at Sound City Studios in Los Angeles, "Buckingham Nicks" was released a year before Nicks and Buckingham joined Fleetwood Mac. Despite not achieving commercial success, the album caught the attention of drummer Mick Fleetwood, leading to Nicks and Buckingham's inclusion in the iconic rock band. Fleetwood has expressed his desire for Nicks and Buckingham to reconcile, despite their strained relationship following Buckingham's departure from Fleetwood Mac in 2018.
Fleetwood had plans to reunite the band before the passing of Christine McVie in November 2022. Since then, he has faced challenges in finding a new musical direction but remains optimistic about collaborating with another band in 2026. Fleetwood expressed his longing to play music again and hopes to work on an album that could potentially lead to a tour in the future, although it would not involve Fleetwood Mac.
