The action thriller 'Extraction', released in 2020 and directed by Sam Hargrave, follows Hemsworth as an Australian black ops mercenary on a mission to save a kidnapped son in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The film was based on the graphic novel Ciudad by Ande Parks. A sequel, Extraction 2, was released in 2023 with the main cast returning for another thrilling adventure.
In addition to his film projects, Hemsworth is preparing for the release of 'Limitless: Live Better Now', which returns on August 15 with three new episodes. The episodes feature Hemsworth taking on challenges like learning the drums to perform with Ed Sheeran, confronting chronic back pain by training with Special Forces in South Korea, and climbing a 600-foot dam in the Swiss Alps. Despite his adventurous spirit, Hemsworth's attempt to impersonate Patrick Swayze's Point Break character was vetoed by Disney and Marvel executives.
