10th Annual Bikes, Bugs, and Imports Event at Coos Bay Speedway: Drag Racing, Car Shows, and More!
Get ready for the 10th annual Bikes, Bugs, and Imports event happening at Coos Bay Speedway in Oregon. The event will take place on August 9 and 10, featuring drag racing, car shows, and more. Friday night will kick off with drag racing under the lights, followed by a car show registration on Saturday morning from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The show and shine awards ceremony will be at 2 p.m., with raffle drawings at 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Drag racing is open to all participants with a registration fee of $50 per day. A swap meet will also be available starting at 10 a.m. on both days. The event will honor military personnel and veterans during the opening ceremonies at noon on Saturday, with special appearances by various veteran groups and a flyover by the U.S. Coast Guard.
This year's event aims to raise funds for The Coos Drop, a youth peer support program that helps young adults empower themselves for success. The program is run by Youth Era with support from Coos Health and Wellness. Attendees can enjoy a variety of food and beverages throughout the event. Tickets are priced at $15, and children six and under can enter for free. Veterans will receive free admission.
