The incident occurred near Isleta Amphitheater, where a group of individuals were reported to be engaging in dangerous racing activities. The officers responded to the call and apprehended 22-year-old Fernando Martinez, the driver of a white Chrysler 300, who attempted to evade the police by driving recklessly through the city. Martinez was charged with reckless driving, resisting arrest, and fleeing from law enforcement. A firearm was also discovered in his vehicle.
