High Jinks and Hilarity: Seth Rogen's Mushroom Mishap on The Studio

Bryan Cranston, Zoƫ Kravitz, and Dave Franco found themselves in a hilarious situation on The Studio when they accidentally took too many mushrooms. The season one finale of the Apple TV+ show featured Seth Rogen's character, Matt Remick, mistakenly giving his colleagues and talent a high dosage of mushrooms before a big presentation at San Diego Comic Con. Rogen revealed that this storyline was inspired by a real-life experience he had with co-creator Evan Goldberg, where they also misjudged their mushroom intake before an important event.

Rogen shared a funny anecdote about a time when he and Goldberg took mushrooms the night before appearing on Marc Maron's WTF podcast to promote their movie This Is the End. Despite trying to sober up with coffee, they realized they were still under the influence when they arrived at the studio. They managed to get through the interview, but Rogen admitted he hasn't listened to the podcast since then, fearing they might sound too out of it.

In addition to the mushroom mishap, Rogen discussed the star-studded cameos on The Studio, including Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos. Rogen joked about trying to make it seem like they could only use footage of Sarandos, but they actually got him to appear on the show. He humorously commented on the irony of having the CEO of Netflix on an Apple show, highlighting the friendly competition between the two tech giants.

Currently, Rogen is also busy starring in season two of Platonic on Apple TV+ alongside Rose Byrne. The actor and producer continues to bring his signature humor and wit to the screen, entertaining audiences with his comedic talents.
