New Batman Movie Project 'Henchmen' in the Works: A Fresh Take on Gotham's Underworld
A new Batman movie project is in the works for the DC Universe franchise. According to The Hollywood Reporter, director Zach Cregger has written a script for a film called Henchmen, set in the DCU. The movie will focus on a low-level henchman in Gotham's crime world who gains fame after accidentally incapacitating Batman. While Batman may make an appearance, the script also includes Harley Quinn and Joker. DC Studios is aware of the project, but it has not been formally presented to James Gunn and Peter Safran.
