Sokol Arena Renovation: Enhancing the Fan Experience at Creighton University

Sokol Arena at Creighton University has undergone a significant transformation with over $1 million in renovations completed during the summer. The 2,500-seat gym, which hosts the volleyball and women's basketball teams, now features new enhancements that will be unveiled to fans during the upcoming Blue and White scrimmage. The upgrades include the installation of two large video boards at the south end of Sokol, complementing the existing board above the student section on the north end. Additionally, digital courtside tables have been added to enhance engagement and marketing opportunities, while the first four rows now offer chairback seating. The Hall of Fame room on the third floor has also been modernized as part of the renovation project.
In addition to the visual improvements, Sokol Arena has introduced new concessions options through a partnership that focuses on providing family-friendly choices for attendees. The updated concession stands will offer a variety of affordable options, including $5 "Jr. Jays meals" designed for children aged 10 and under, as well as a family four pack priced at $20. These offerings aim to enhance the overall fan experience at Sokol and align with the university's commitment to creating a welcoming environment for all visitors.
The renovations at Sokol Arena represent a significant investment in enhancing the facilities for both athletes and spectators. The updated venue now boasts modern amenities and improved seating options, creating a more engaging and comfortable atmosphere for fans attending events. With the addition of new video boards, digital enhancements, and family-friendly concessions, Sokol Arena is poised to provide an elevated experience for all who visit the campus facility.
