Thomas Rhett's 'After All the Bars Are Closed' Hits No. 1 on Billboard's Country Airplay Chart

Thomas Rhett achieves his 21st No. 1 hit on Billboard's Country Airplay chart with his song "After All the Bars Are Closed," which climbed two spots to the top position on the chart dated August 16. The track saw an 8% increase in audience impressions from August 1-7, reaching 29 million listeners. Rhett collaborated on the song with songwriters Julian Bunetta, John Byron, Jaxson Free, and Jacob Kasher, and it was co-produced by Bunetta and Dann Huff. This track is the second single from Rhett's album "About a Woman," which peaked at No. 10 on the Top Country Albums chart in September. His previous single, "Beautiful as You," reached No. 2 in November. Rhett's last No. 1 hit was "Mamaw's House" featuring Morgan Wallen in March 2024, and his first chart-topper was "It Goes Like This" in October 2013.

Jelly Roll secures his eighth top 10 hit on the Country Airplay chart with "Heart of Stone," which climbed to No. 10 on the chart, marking his eighth top 10 appearance, all of which have reached No. 1. The song, co-written by the Nashville native, follows his previous hit "Liar," which spent six weeks at No. 1 starting in February. Jelly Roll's streak of consecutive No. 1 hits is the longest active streak on the chart. Morgan Wallen follows closely behind with six consecutive No. 1 hits. Wallen's latest single, "I Got Better," is also climbing the charts, moving from 19 to 15 with a 24% increase in audience impressions.
