50th Toronto International Film Festival: In Conversation With... Series Highlights Star-Studded Lineup
The Toronto International Film Festival has announced a series of conversations for its 50th anniversary event. The In Conversation With... series will feature appearances from Ryan Reynolds, Dwayne Johnson, Tessa Thompson, and Park Chan-wook. Reynolds will discuss the documentary "John Candy: I Like Me," while Johnson will talk about his latest dramatic effort, "The Smashing Machine." Thompson and Nia DaCosta will discuss their new film "Hedda," and Park will be the subject of another panel with his film "No Other Choice."
The In Conversation With... series will also include a discussion with co-stars Han So-hee and Jun Jong-seo about their film "Project Y" as part of the TIFF: Close-Up series. Anita Lee, TIFF's Chief Programming Officer, expressed excitement about the programming for the 50th edition of the festival, highlighting the importance of film in sparking dialogue and building connections.
