Chrissie Hynde recently attended an Oasis Live ‘25 reunion show at Wembley Stadium in London with Johnny Marr and his daughter Sonny, as well as Pretenders lead guitarist James Walbourne. She shared her experience on Instagram, praising Oasis for being exactly what the world needs now. Hynde also mentioned dancing with Kate Moss to the support act, Richard Ashcroft, and complimented Moss on her singing abilities.

Hynde highlighted the greatness of Oasis' performance, emphasizing the band's raw rock energy without elaborate stage setups. She expressed her admiration for rock bands that focus on their music rather than flashy visuals, calling Oasis a proper rock band. Hynde and Marr have a longstanding friendship, with Marr briefly being a member of the Pretenders in 1987.

The Pretenders also featured Marr as a guest during their Glastonbury 2023 set, where they performed ‘Back On The Chain Gang’ and ‘Don’t Get Me Wrong’. Oasis, after their final Edinburgh show, will continue their tour with performances in Dublin, North America, and various other countries. NME praised Oasis' performance at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, describing it as a reinvention for the 21st century with a visually stunning stage setup and a setlist of their greatest hits.
