The 2025 Lake Redding Regatta is extending its race registration deadline until August 16 at noon. The event will be held on August 16 and 17 at Lake Redding Park, offering a variety of races, live entertainment, and new partnerships. The Asphalt Cowboys will host a Pancake Breakfast on Sunday morning, and Fall River Brewing Co. will introduce a special Lake Redding Fruited Kölsch for the occasion.
The Lake Redding Regatta, which originated in the 1930s, brings the community together for a weekend of racing and festivities. This year's race divisions include kayak, canoe, stand-up paddleboard, tandem, and crew boats, with age categories of 18–49 and 50 and over. The recreational courses are 1 mile long, while the performance divisions will challenge paddlers on a 2-mile stretch.
The regatta's schedule includes performance races, food vendors, live music by Full Throttle on Saturday, and a Pancake Breakfast on Sunday. Participants and spectators can also enjoy wellness and recovery services such as physical therapy and sauna access.
