Dan Levy's 'Big Mistakes': A Family Crime Comedy Series on Netflix

Dan Levy's latest project for Netflix, "Big Mistakes," is a family crime comedy series that has begun production in New Jersey. The show has added several new cast members to its lineup, including Jack Innanen, Boran Kuzum, and Abby Quinn, alongside previously announced stars Taylor Ortega and Laurie Metcalf. The series follows two siblings who find themselves entangled in the world of organized crime after being blackmailed.
In addition to his role as showrunner and executive producer, Dan Levy will also appear in the eight-episode series. Co-created by Levy and Rachel Sennott, "Big Mistakes" is a part of Levy's creative partnership with Netflix through his production company, Not a Real Production Company. This marks Levy's first series under his overall television deal with Netflix, following the success of his acclaimed show "Schitt's Creek."
Not a Real Production Company is also working on a documentary about the 1990s music festival Lilith Fair, set to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. Levy's production company has been busy with other projects, including the Max baking series "The Big Brunch" and the upcoming dramedy film "Good Grief," starring Levy alongside Ruth Negga, Himesh Patel, and Luke Evans.
"Big Mistakes" promises to be a thrilling addition to Levy's repertoire, showcasing his talent both in front of and behind the camera.
