Investigation Underway: Allegations of Minors Receiving Abortions at Centreville High School

Fairfax County's Centreville High School is under scrutiny as multiple minors have come forward alleging that school officials facilitated and funded their abortions at Fairfax Healthcare Center. One student claimed she was pressured by a clinic social worker to undergo the procedure despite expressing a desire to keep the baby. The Governor's office has urged anyone with information on these allegations to contact the Virginia State Police.
Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) is currently investigating the claims that staff at Centreville High School arranged abortions for students without informing their parents. Superintendent Michelle Reid emphasized in a letter to the school community that such actions would not be tolerated within FCPS. The school district has provided its policy, Regulation 2504, which encourages pregnant students to discuss their concerns with their parents but does not mandate parental notification.
If you have any information related to these allegations, please reach out to the Virginia State Police. FCPS is committed to investigating the claims thoroughly and ensuring the safety and well-being of its students.
