Bernie Leadon is set to release his first album in over two decades titled "Too Late to Be Cool" on October 10. The Eagles cofounder unveiled a new video for the album's lead single, "Too Many Memories," and has also released the second single, "Just a Little."

Leadon expressed his excitement for the album, emphasizing the collaborative process with his band and the live recording approach for some tracks. The album features 11 songs written by Leadon and was produced and engineered by Glyn Johns, known for his work with the Eagles.

Having previously released his solo album "Mirror" in 2004, Leadon's return to the music scene has been highly anticipated. His musical journey began with Dillard & Clark and the Flying Burrito Brothers before cofounding the Eagles in 1971. Leadon left the band in 1975 to pursue a career as a session musician, working with various artists.

The backing band for "Too Late to Be Cool" includes bassist Glenn Worf, drummer Greg Morrow, and keyboardist Tony Harrell. Leadon's induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1998 as part of the Eagles highlights his significant contributions to the music industry.

While Leadon currently has no tour dates scheduled, he will be performing at the Americanafest in Nashville next month. He expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to continue making music and hopes that the album resonates with listeners in a positive way.
