Brad Pitt to Return as Cliff Booth in The Adventures of Cliff Booth, Directed by David Fincher

Brad Pitt will reprise his role as Cliff Booth in a sequel to Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood, but Quentin Tarantino will not be directing this time. Tarantino explained that he did not want his final film to be a sequel and passed on the directing duties and script to David Fincher. The two-time Oscar winner expressed his admiration for Fincher's work and approved the use of his script for The Adventures of Cliff Booth.

After receiving approval from Tarantino, Pitt and Se7en director Fincher are set to bring the sequel to life. The cast includes Pitt, Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Corey Fogelmanis, and JB Tadena. The movie is expected to start filming in July and has secured a $20 million California film-tax credit.

Tarantino also revealed that he decided not to make The Movie Critic his final film, as he wanted to challenge himself to make an interesting movie about a seemingly boring profession. He expressed his desire to create titles that promise excitement, unlike The Movie Critic. While taking a break from filmmaking, Tarantino is exploring opportunities in theater and expressed his enthusiasm for live theater during the Sundance festival in January.
