Naomi Osaka Sells Tarzana Home to Nick and Vanessa Lachey: A Look Inside the Luxurious Property
Tennis star Naomi Osaka recently sold a property in the San Fernando Valley back to its previous owners, Nick and Vanessa Lachey, for nearly $8 million. Osaka had purchased the Tarzana home off-market in 2022 for $6.3 million and made upgrades before listing it for $8.3 million in June. The Lacheys, known for their roles on Netflix's Love Is Blind, repurchased the residence for slightly below the asking price, paying around $1.7 million more than Osaka's purchase price.
The house has an interesting history, as the Lacheys originally bought the East Coast traditional-style property from former NFL player Randall Cobb in late 2020 for just over $5 million. They then sold it to Naomi Osaka less than two years later. During her ownership, Osaka renovated the property and added a separate structure designed as a gym and recovery center, complete with neon motivational signage.
Situated on a cul-de-sac lot of over half an acre, the 2014-built residence spans approximately 7,000 square feet across two levels, featuring five bedrooms and nine bathrooms. The property includes a four-car garage, a motor court with space for up to 20 vehicles, dark hardwood floors, and expansive glass windows offering valley and mountain views.
The kitchen boasts dual islands, high-end stainless-steel appliances, and a breakfast nook, while pocketing doors connect the family room to a covered loggia. The primary suite upstairs features a fireplace, private balcony, two walk-in closets, and a spa-style bath. Additional spaces include a media lounge, a game room with a wet bar, and a formal dining room with wainscoting and patterned wall treatments.
Outside, the backyard is designed for recreation and entertainment, featuring a pool, spa, barbecue station, fire pit, and sunken sports court. Amy Snider of Compass represented Naomi Osaka in the transaction, while The Agency's Mauricio Umansky and Craig Knizek represented the Lacheys.
In addition to this property, the Lacheys have their Encino modern farmhouse on the market for $7.5 million, which they purchased in 2024 for $6.8 million. They also previously owned a home near Oahu's Kahala Beach, bought for $8.8 million in 2022 and sold for nearly $9.5 million last summer after the cancellation of NCIS: Hawaiʻi.
