Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home - A Tribute to the Metal Legend's Final Years

The BBC has decided to postpone the airing of a documentary about Ozzy Osbourne's final years as a sign of respect for his family. The documentary, titled Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home, was originally set to be broadcast on BBC One but was replaced with another program. The network expressed its condolences to the Osbourne family and stated that they would honor the family's request to delay the broadcast. The new transmission date for the documentary will be announced soon.
Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home will delve into the metal legend's return to the U.K., his farewell concert titled Back to the Beginning on July 5, and his passing less than three weeks later at the age of 76. Initially planned as a 10-part series called Home to Roost, the project shifted focus to capture the last three years of Osbourne's life as his health deteriorated. The documentary offers a poignant and intimate look at this final chapter, featuring insights from the entire Osbourne family, including Sharon, Jack, and Kelly.
Following a prolonged battle with health issues, Ozzy Osbourne passed away on July 22 at the age of 76. His funeral, held on July 30, included a private ceremony at the Osbournes' Buckinghamshire residence after a procession through Birmingham. The funeral was attended by Osbourne's Black Sabbath bandmates, Tony Iommi, Bill Ward, and Geezer Butler, as well as his longtime solo guitarist Zakk Wylde, Metallica's James Hetfield, Elton John, and other prominent figures from the rock music scene. The documentary Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home promises to provide a heartfelt tribute to the iconic musician's legacy and his final years.
