Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Unveiled at Gamescom with Exciting Crossovers and New Features
Exciting news for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds was revealed at Gamescom with two new trailers dropping recently. The first trailer showcased a surprising crossover between Sonic the Hedgehog and Pac-Man, with both characters appearing in each other's upcoming games. Sonic joins Pac-Man in Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac, featuring Sonic-inspired levels and costumes. In Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, Pac-Man and Team Ghost join the Season Pass roster, allowing players to race through Pac-Village and the iconic Maze in the Pac-Man Mobile.
The Competition Trailer for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds highlighted the various game modes available for players to compete in once the game is released. The trailer also introduced new tracks based on Sonic's recent adventures, including Kronos Island from Sonic Frontiers, Northstar Island from Sonic Superstars, and the White Space from Shadow Generations. Players can expect intense rivalries and interactions between their favorite Sonic characters on the racetrack, with over a thousand voice lines and interactions included in the game.
Fans can get an early taste of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds during the Open Network Test from August 29 to September 1. This free event will allow players on PS5 to race online with 12 iconic Sonic characters, compete on 16 courses, and customize their racing machines with 42 gadgets.
