Texas Songwriters Hall of Fame 2026 Inductees: George Strait, Miranda Lambert, Don Cook, and Keith Gattis
The Texas Songwriters Hall of Fame will welcome George Strait, Miranda Lambert, Don Cook, and Keith Gattis as inductees in 2026. George Strait, known as King George, has achieved 110 million RIAA certifications and has consistently delivered chart-topping hits for over three decades. Miranda Lambert, the most-awarded artist in ACM history, has co-written popular songs like "Bluebird," "Tin Man," and "Automatic."
Don Cook, with 20 number one hits to his name, including 13 with Brooks & Dunn, has also had songs recorded by artists like George Strait, Alabama, and Kenny Rogers. Keith Gattis, known for writing "El Cerrito Place" recorded by Kenny Chesney, has also penned songs for artists such as Willie Nelson, Randy Houser, and George Jones.
The official induction of these four talented songwriters will take place during the 20th anniversary Texas Songwriters Hall of Fame Awards on February 21 at ACL Live in Austin. Join us in celebrating the exceptional contributions of these artists to the world of music.
