Lenchantin started working on Triste in Petatlán, Mexico in 2024, crafting songs that tell the story of a young woman's love for Jesus. While not necessarily religious herself, Lenchantin sees the narrative as a metaphor for the human quest for salvation and devotion to something beyond reach.
