Burglary Incident at Lionel Richie's Beverly Hills Home: Suspect Apprehended by Police
Police responded to a burglary at the Beverly Hills residence of musician Lionel Richie in the early hours of Friday morning. A 911 call was made from Richie's home, reporting an intruder on the property. Officers arrived and located a man a few blocks away, who was subsequently arrested on suspicion of residential burglary. The suspect, identified as Michael John Bond, 38, was taken into custody near Wilshire Boulevard and Beverly Glen. Security cameras captured images of the suspect entering the home but fleeing after triggering the security alarm. Richie's team expressed gratitude to the police for their swift response and apprehension of the suspect, noting that no one was harmed during the incident. Fortunately, no items were reported missing from the residence.
