Oregon State Men's Soccer Team Dominates UC Santa Barbara in Season Opener
The Oregon State men's soccer team started their 2025 season at Paul Lorenz Field against the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos. In the 30th minute, Andrew de Gannes received a pass from Nico Nee but missed the shot. UC Santa Barbara had a chance with Isaiah Barber's header hitting the crossbar, but OSU's keeper John Nicolson saved the day. Aiden Marquez's header for OSU also missed the mark. Just before halftime, Arnau Farnos scored the first goal for the Beavers. In the second half, OSU scored two more goals to secure a 3-0 victory over UC Santa Barbara. The Beavers will face the Washington Huskies on August 24th at 3:00 p.m.
