The Beatles Anthology: A Comprehensive Reissue of Music, Film, and Print

The Beatles are gearing up to present a comprehensive reissue of their iconic project Anthology this fall, spanning film, music, and print. Originally launched 30 years ago, the series revolutionized storytelling by allowing John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr to narrate their own journey, offering fans an intimate look at the band's highs and lows.

This year, The Beatles Anthology documentary will return as a nine-part series, premiering on Disney+ on November 26. In addition to the restored original episodes, Episode Nine will feature never-before-seen footage from 1994 and 1995, capturing Paul, George, and Ringo as they reunited to collaborate on the project and reminisce about their shared past.

The musical aspect of the Anthology collections will be released on November 21, expanded into four volumes available on 12LP vinyl, 8CD, and digital formats. Curated by George Martin and remastered by Giles Martin, the material includes Anthology 4, featuring 13 previously unreleased demos and sessions, as well as updated mixes of the singles 'Free As A Bird' and 'Real Love' by Jeff Lynne. The restored video for 'Free As A Bird' will also make its debut alongside the music releases.

Furthermore, on October 14, the 25th-anniversary edition of The Beatles Anthology book will hit the shelves. This 368-page book compiles personal recollections from the band and their closest associates, complemented by over 1,300 photos, documents, and illustrations from their archives.

These upcoming releases highlight The Beatles' enduring impact on culture, showcasing how their legacy continues to resonate with audiences long after their final recordings. Fans can now pre-order The Beatles Anthology book to delve deeper into the band's remarkable story.
