Inside the Hall: Weekly IU Basketball and Sports Updates - October Edition
Welcome to the latest edition of 6-Banner Sunday, a collaboration between The Assembly Call and Inside the Hall, where we bring you the top five IU basketball stories of the week and updates on other IU sports programs.
The exhibition games in Puerto Rico are behind us, and IU basketball has announced two exhibition games in October to prepare for the 2025-26 season. The upcoming exhibition games leading up to the regular season have been scheduled. The first game will be against Marian on October 17 in Bloomington, followed by a matchup against Baylor at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on October 26. The new finish on Branch McCracken Court at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall adds to the anticipation for the upcoming season.
Recruiting efforts are in full swing under new head coach Darian DeVries, with promising prospects visiting campus and IU making strides to strengthen future classes. Highlight videos for potential targets like Nasir Anderson and Ryan Hampton are available for fans to watch.
