Classic Rock Bands with Unbroken Lineups: Poison and U2 Stand Alone

Poison and U2 are the only two major classic rock bands currently utilizing their most famous lineups. U2's Bono, the Edge, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen, Jr. have been together since 1976, making them the longest-lasting classic lineup after ZZ Top's Dusty Hill passed away in 2021. Poison's Bret Michaels, Rikki Rockett, Bobby Dall, and C.C. DeVille have maintained their lineup since 1983, with only a brief period of rotating replacement guitarists. The death of key band members in other famous bands like the Rolling Stones and the Beatles has made classic lineup reunions impossible. While some bands have multiple eras that fans may prefer, identifying the most famous lineup that can still technically reunite is a challenge. Despite the possibility of reunions, many of these bands are unlikely to come back together due to various reasons.
