Conquer the Course: Mud Race and Obstacle Challenge at Grand Forks Fairgrounds

The Grand Forks Fairgrounds is gearing up to host an exciting mud race and obstacle course event this September. Participants will have the opportunity to navigate through various challenges on the River Cities Speedway track. This marks the return of mud racing to the fairgrounds, with plans to host more events in the future. The fairgrounds manager, Brandis Laframbois, expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming event and the prospect of offering a diverse range of activities at the venue.
The obstacle course will test participants' endurance and strength as they conquer obstacles such as an 8-foot wall, hay bale hurdles, a wheelbarrow full of dirt, an ice swim, a peg wall, a balance beam, a mud pit under wire, a tractor tire flip, a quarter pipe climb, a cargo net climb, a bucket of gravel carry, and monkey bars. The race will culminate with a water pit, a lap around the track, and a final wall scale. Refreshments and live music will be available to participants and spectators.
After a hiatus, the fairgrounds is excited to reintroduce mud races and similar events to its lineup. Registration for the mud race and obstacle course is currently open on the fairgrounds website. The event is scheduled to kick off at 8 a.m. on Saturday, September 13. Don't miss this opportunity to challenge yourself and enjoy a day of outdoor fun at the Grand Forks Fairgrounds.
