Philadelphia Eagles Scout Attends University of Northern Colorado Football Scrimmage

UNC is set to kick off its 2025 season against Division II Chadron State on August 30 at 1 p.m.
Tobin, who represents the Philadelphia Eagles, was on the lookout for talented players during the scrimmage. He covers the midlands area of the U.S., which includes states like Colorado, Wyoming, and Iowa. Tobin's scouting efforts extend to both NCAA and NAIA schools, as he aims to identify potential draft prospects for the Eagles.
While at the scrimmage, Tobin emphasized the importance of evaluating all draft-eligible players, regardless of the school they attend. He declined to specify if he was targeting any specific players from UNC but stressed the significance of thorough scouting in college football. Tobin's scouting responsibilities will keep him on the road for much of the year as he seeks out promising talent.
Earlier this year, UNC hosted a pro day for three former players looking to pursue professional football careers. David Afari, Caden Meis, and Sam Iongi-Amituanai showcased their skills in front of representatives from NFL and CFL teams. The pro day was organized by UNC assistant head coach Aaron Fernandez, who serves as the team's NFL liaison.
