Big Big Train Announces Release of Live Album "Are We Nearly There Yet?" Featuring 18-Minute Version of "Beneath The Masts

UK progressive rock band Big Big Train is set to release their latest live album, Are We Nearly There Yet?, in September. The album will feature a new 18-minute live version of the song Beneath The Masts, originally from their 2024 album The Likes Of Us. The band's lineup includes lead singer Alberto Bravin and keyboardist Oskar Holldorff from Dim Gray. Are We Nearly There Yet? will be available on 2CD, 3LP, high-resolution download, and streaming formats on September 19.
Lead singer Alberto Bravin expressed excitement about releasing an 18-minute song as a single, highlighting the strength of Beneath The Masts. Guitarist Rikard Sjöblom praised the song's longevity and development through live performances, comparing it to the band's classic track East Coast Racer. The album's 3LP version will be offered in limited edition transparent violet vinyl and black vinyl, with pre-orders including a signed art card for Are We Nearly There Yet?.
Fans can catch Big Big Train at a special warm-up show at the 1865 in Southampton on Sunday, March 1, before their co-headlining performance on Cruise To The Edge from March 4 to 9. Pre-orders for Are We Nearly There Yet? are now available.
