BTS V Throws Ceremonial First Pitch at Dodgers Game and Meets Shohei Ohtani
V of the popular K-pop group BTS had the honor of throwing the ceremonial first pitch at a Los Angeles Dodgers game. He met Shohei Ohtani, a two-way superstar, before taking the mound. V impressed the crowd by throwing a strike to Dodgers pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto. Fans cheered as V greeted the kids on the field and shouted, "It's time for Dodger baseball!" in English.
Before the game against Cincinnati, V had a brief interaction with Ohtani in the team's dugout. He wore a No. 7 jersey and chatted with Dodgers pitcher Tyler Glasnow. Fans were ecstatic to see V in action and he acknowledged their support with a wave. V even returned to the field to throw warmup pitches, with fans capturing the moment on their camera phones.
BTS is gearing up to release a new album as a full group next spring, following a break for mandatory military service in South Korea. The band members have been in the U.S. working on new music since July. Fans are eagerly anticipating the group's return and the release of their upcoming album.
