Kubler Racing: Training Duo to Work with Bahrain's Royal Family
Daniel and Claire Kubler, a husband and wife training duo, have been offered a unique opportunity to train for members of the royal family in Bahrain. The couple, who have been based in Lambourn for five successful seasons, have achieved significant success, including training 42 winners in 2024. They will now be working with His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the owner of the renowned racehorse Economics, and other royal family members in Bahrain.
The Kublers expressed their excitement about the new venture, stating that they are looking forward to working with a new group of horses and a dedicated team in Bahrain. They will be involved in the development of a new training facility in the country, where the royal family has been actively promoting international racing. This opportunity allows them to contribute to the growth of Bahrain's racing jurisdiction on a global scale.
Having previously raced in Bahrain with their notable winner Astro King, the Kublers are familiar with the country's racing scene. They plan to start training in Bahrain from October 2025, coinciding with the beginning of the 2025/26 season. In the meantime, their UK operation will continue with the current horses in training receiving the same level of care and attention during the transition period.
