Kickstart Your Career in Sport with Telford College's 'Football & Education' Programme
Telford College is offering students the chance to participate in the Wolves Foundation's 'Football & Education' programme. The programme allows students to earn a BTEC level three extended diploma in sport at the college's Wellington campus. Students will gain valuable industry knowledge in areas such as anatomy and physiology, sports coaching, sports science, and performance analysis. They will also have the opportunity to represent the Wolves Foundation in fixtures against other professional club community organizations in the EFL League and visit the Molineux stadium and Compton Park training ground.
The course aims to enhance students' employability options and prepare them for various opportunities in the sports industry. Brad Moore, post 16 education and skills manager with Wolves Foundation, expressed excitement about relaunching the programme, highlighting the potential career paths it opens up for students. Students will have the chance to play against other club community organizations from the EFL and Premier League, providing a positive experience of competitive football.
