Sony Pictures has unveiled the first trailer for Nia DaCosta's upcoming film, "28 Years Later: The Bone Temple." The movie continues the story from "28 Years Later," focusing on Spike's encounter with Sir Jimmy Crystal and his group of acrobatic killers in a post-apocalyptic England. Dr. Kelson finds himself in a new relationship with far-reaching consequences, while Spike's nightmare with Jimmy Crystal unfolds. In this new world, the survivors' inhumanity poses a greater threat than the infected.
The cast includes Alfie Williams as Spike, Jack O'Connell as Sir Jimmy Crystal, and Ralph Fiennes as Dr. Kelson. Cillian Murphy will make a brief appearance as Jim from "28 Days Later," with Emma Laird, Maura Bird, Erin Kellyman, and Chi Lewis-Parry also starring in the film. Executive producer Danny Boyle hinted at Murphy's significant role in the third installment, while O'Connell and Fiennes will have expanded parts in "28 Years Later: The Bone Temple," delving deeper into the mainland plot.
