United Way of Metropolitan Dallas Centennial Celebration: A Day of Music, Community, and Impact

United Way of Metropolitan Dallas is celebrating its 100th anniversary with a grand event at Fair Park on Saturday, Nov. 15. The nonprofit organization has planned a day filled with food, community activities, and music, culminating in a concert at the Cotton Bowl featuring Janet Jackson and Blake Shelton. Both artists are excited to support United Way's mission through their performances, with Shelton expressing a special connection to the event due to his Oklahoma roots.

The centennial celebration is the highlight of a year-long campaign showcasing United Way's impact in North Texas. With a focus on improving access to education, income, and health, the organization has positively impacted over 1.7 million individuals in the past year alone. CEO Jennifer Sampson emphasized the significance of the event as a tribute to the people and partners who have contributed to shaping North Texas, highlighting the innovative initiatives driving positive change in the community.

In addition to the concert, attendees can enjoy the Taste United Food and Wine Festival and a Patron Dinner before the evening performance. Tickets and further details for all three events can be found on United Way of Metropolitan Dallas' website at UnitedWayDallas.org/100.

The United Way of Metropolitan Dallas' 100th-anniversary celebration promises to be a memorable occasion, bringing together the community to honor the organization's impactful work over the past century and set the stage for continued progress in the years to come.
