Farm Aid Live: Celebrating 40 Years of Musical Support for Family Farmers on CNN
CNN is set to broadcast Farm Aid Live as part of its weekend lineup, celebrating the 40th anniversary of the musical festival. The event will feature performances by iconic artists such as Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews, and Margo Price. The live coverage will be anchored by John Berman and Laura Coates from Huntington Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, with reporting from the festival by Bill Weir, CNN's chief climate correspondent. Farm Aid was established by Nelson, Young, and Mellencamp to support family farmers, raising $85 million since its inception in 1985.
