Paul Mescal to Portray Paul McCartney in Upcoming Beatles Biopic Series Directed by Sam Mendes

Paul Mescal is set to take on the role of music legend Paul McCartney in a series of upcoming films about The Beatles. Directed by Sam Mendes, the biopics will delve into the lives of the iconic band members through a cinematic lens.
Mescal expressed his excitement about meeting McCartney in person, calling it surreal to spend time with such a legendary figure. He confirmed that he will be doing his own singing as McCartney in the films.
Joining Mescal in the project are Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr, and Joseph Quinn as George Harrison. Mendes described the series of films as a unique theatrical experience that will span a year of filming.
The Beatles have had a profound impact on Mendes, who has long wanted to create a movie about the band. This project marks the first time that Apple Corps Ltd. and the surviving members of The Beatles have allowed their music and life stories to be adapted for the big screen.
Ridley Scott confirmed Mescal's role as McCartney during the premiere of Gladiator II in Los Angeles. Mescal's upcoming projects include the films Hamnet and The History of Sound, with the latter set to release in theaters on September 12.
Fans can look forward to the release of the four Beatles films in April 2028. Stay tuned for more updates on Hollywood news, upcoming English movie releases, red carpet events, box office updates, reviews, and trailers. Stay connected with the latest entertainment news by downloading the News18 App.
