Corey Hendrix and Ahmad Ferguson Join Stellar Cast of 'Moses The Black' Gangland Drama

Corey Hendrix and Ahmad Ferguson have joined the cast of the upcoming gangland drama "Moses The Black," alongside Omar Epps, Wiz Khalifa, Quavo, and Chukwudi Iwuji. The film, set in modern-day Chicago, follows the story of a gangster inspired by the repentance tale of the fifth-century saint of the same name. Epps portrays Malik, the leader of a Chicago gang, while Khalifa takes on the role of 2wo-3ree, the leader of Malik's young crew. Quavo plays Straw, Malik's rival, and Iwuji portrays the title character, St. Moses the Black.

The movie is written and directed by Yelena Popovic, with Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson and his G-Unit Film and Television serving as executive producers. Filming is set to commence next week. Producers on the project include Alexandros Potter and Popovic for Simeon Faith, with Khalifa and Epps also serving as executive producers through their respective production companies. The film is financed by Simeon Faith and the Nick Mirkopoulos Cinematic Fund, with support from the former owners of Cinespace Film Studios.
