SXSW Sydney has announced the lineup of headliner films for its upcoming screen festival. The festival will feature Australian premieres of notable films such as Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere and Bugonia directed by Yorgos Lanthimos. The Opening Night Film will be the Springsteen biopic directed by Scott Cooper and starring Jeremy Allen White. Other Australian premieres include Black Phone 2, Nirvanna The Band The Show The Movie, Die My Love, and If I Had Legs I'd Kick You, starring Rose Byrne. The full program will be revealed on September 16. The festival will take place from October 13 to 19 at various venues.

"Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere" follows a young musician on the brink of stardom as he grapples with the challenges of fame and his past. "Black Phone 2" tells the story of Finn and his sister Gwen as they face the vengeful spirit of the Grabber. "Nirvanna The Band The Show The Movie" follows Matt and Jay as they accidentally time travel to 2008. "Die My Love" explores Grace's descent into madness in a secluded house in Montana. "Bugonia" depicts two men convinced that a CEO is an alien plotting Earth's destruction. "If I Had Legs I'd Kick You" follows Linda as she navigates various challenges in her life.
