2025 Country Music Association Awards: Ella Langley, Megan Moroney, and Lainey Wilson Lead Nominations
Ella Langley, Megan Moroney, and Lainey Wilson are leading the nominations for the upcoming 2025 Country Music Association Awards, each receiving six nods. The coveted CMA entertainer of the year category includes Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton, and Morgan Wallen, the reigning winner. Other top nominees include Zach Top with five nominations, and Riley Green and Cody Johnson with four each. Several artists, including Kristian Bush, Carson Chamberlain, and Charlie Handsome, received three nominations.
The 59th annual CMA Awards will be held at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on November 19, broadcast live on ABC and the following day on Hulu. The awards are determined by members of the Country Music Association, comprising music industry professionals, artists, and songwriters.
Ella Langley's nominations span various categories, including single, song, and music video of the year for her collaboration with Riley Green on “you look like you love me.” Megan Moroney is recognized for her project “Am I Okay?” with nominations in single, album, song, and music video categories. Lainey Wilson is nominated for entertainer of the year, single and song of the year, album of the year, female vocalist of the year, and music video.
In addition to Langley, Green, Moroney, and Wilson, Luke Combs and Zach Top are also nominated for single of the year. The new artist of the year category features Langley, Shaboozey, Top, Tucker Wetmore, and Stephen Wilson Jr. Notable first-time nominees include Johnny Clawson, Jon Decious, Jessie Jo Dillon, and several others.
