Doug Barnes, Jr. dominated the 125-lap race at Southern National Motorsports Park, leading from start to finish. He secured his fourth Late Model Stock Car victory of the season after qualifying on the pole. Despite facing challenges during restarts, Barnes managed to stay ahead of the competition and extend his lead each time. This win adds to his previous successes, including three wins during Speed Week earlier in the year.

Barnes credited his exceptional car for his victory, acknowledging the hard work of his team in providing him with a fast and reliable vehicle. Deac McCaskill, a four-time track champion, battled with Michael Fose for the runner-up position during the race. The next race in the I-95 Showdown's "Battleback Round" is scheduled to take place at Florence Motor Speedway on October 11.
