Song Sung Blue: A Musical Journey of Love and Passion

Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson are set to star in the upcoming film "Song Sung Blue," which tells the story of a real-life couple, Mike and Claire Sardina, who formed a tribute band to Neil Diamond called "Lightning & Thunder." The trailer released by Focus Features showcases the couple's journey as they navigate their desire for something more in life beyond their current occupations.

In the trailer, Kate Hudson's character, Claire, dreams of a life beyond her job as a hairdresser, while Hugh Jackman's character, Mike, seeks something new and exciting. As their relationship evolves, their performances in the tribute band bring them closer together. Based on the 2008 documentary of the same name by Greg Kohs, "Song Sung Blue" is written and directed by Craig Brewer, known for his work on "Hustle & Flow."
