Rev Up Your Weekend: Fan Friday Festivities at the Bank of America ROVAL™ 400
Get ready for an exciting start to the Bank of America ROVAL™ 400 weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway with Fan Friday festivities on October 3rd. The NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series will race on the ROVAL™ for the first time ever, and the Fan Zone will be buzzing with activities, including merchandise haulers, driver appearances, and interactive experiences.
The Joe Gibbs Racing Fan Fest will kick off the evening with exclusive team merchandise, family-friendly activities, and live appearances from Joe Gibbs Racing stars like Denny Hamlin, Chase Briscoe, and Christopher Bell. Fans can also enjoy a high-powered autograph session from 6-8 p.m. The event is free and open to everyone, with the first 300 fans securing a spot in line by picking up a wristband at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Avenue of Flags.
The STEAM Expo will showcase the next generation of innovators with over 40 interactive stations focusing on science, technology, engineering, arts, and math in motorsports. More than 3,000 students from the region will have a hands-on experience at zMAX Dragway, exploring topics like force and motion, coding, reaction times, speed, and acceleration.
The Hauler Parade, a beloved tradition, will feature NASCAR haulers carrying race-ready cars rumbling through the Fan Zone at 8 p.m. Fans can cheer on the parade as it makes its way around the track, led by Lug Nut, the World's Fastest Mascot, and the Carolina Panthers PURRcussion Drumline.
After the parade, fans can join the THOR Camper Party at the Echo Park Stage for live entertainment, giveaways, and free food and beverages. NASCAR fan-favorite Tim Dugger will headline the event with a 90-minute set, and guests can enter to win THOR gift boxes filled with camping essentials for the ultimate race-weekend experience.
