The men's tennis team from Auburn University is gearing up to kick off their fall 2025 schedule at the Blue-Gray National Tennis Classic, taking place at the Lagoon Park Tennis Center in Montgomery, Alabama from Friday to Sunday. The tournament format includes four players from each team split into two pairs, competing in doubles matches followed by singles matches. The team that wins two out of the three matches will move forward in the draw.

Representing Auburn at the tournament will be two pairs: Jake Kennedy and Joey Phillips, as well as Nicholas Heng and Freddy Blaydes. Blaydes will be making his debut as a Tiger at this event. Kennedy and Phillips will face off against Edoardo Cherie Ligniere and Yannic Nittmann from Clemson in the first round, while Heng and Blaydes will start their matches against Hady El-Kordy and Andres Delgadillo from Tulane.

In addition to Auburn, teams from Alabama, Boise State, Clemson, Georgia Tech, North Alabama, Rice, and Tulane will also be participating in the tournament. Live scoring will be available on bluegraytennis.com, with results posted on wearecollegetennis.com.

Auburn previously emerged victorious as a team in 2023, and now looks forward to showcasing their talent in the upcoming matches.
