USWNT to Face Italy in Friendly Match in Orlando: A Clash of Titans

The United States women’s national team is set to play a friendly match against Italy in Orlando on Nov. 28 at Inter&Co Stadium with a 7 p.m. kickoff. This game will mark the first meeting between the two teams since the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup knockout stage. The USWNT has a history of playing in Orlando, with their most recent game in the city taking place in 2023 during the SheBelieves Cup tournament, which they won.
Italy's women’s national team reached the semifinals of the 2025 UEFA Women’s Euro, where England emerged as the champions. The USWNT, under the leadership of head coach Emma Hayes, is currently on a five-game winning streak. In October, the team will face Portugal in two friendlies on Oct. 23 in Chester, Pennsylvania, and Oct. 26 in Connecticut. Following that, they will play against New Zealand on Oct. 29 in Kansas City.
